Build Secured is an alternative for customers who don’t yet qualify for another plan. With a $17 deposit, you can secure your account and start growing your credit score with the same impact as a Build plan. Your deposit will be refunded either at the time you upgrade, after 12 months of consecutive on-time payments, or in the event your Build Secured account is closed. Both Build Secured and Build are reported as a $204 line of credit paid in full each month to all three credit bureaus to boost your credit score. After 6 consecutive months of on-time payments, you’ll be eligible to upgrade to a Grow membership with premium features and subscriptions, which is reported to the bureaus as a $600 line of credit.
