Plaid is a secure way to authenticate and securely share your financial data. Over 4,500 companies use Plaid to connect users to financial applications, including American Express, Venmo, Acorns, and Betterment. You can learn more about the measures that Plaid takes to ensure your security here.

Grow Credit uses Plaid as a component of the underwriting process to determine if you’re eligible for a Grow account. When you complete your application, we analyze your data to determine which account type you are eligible for. After your application is approved, you may choose to use your linked bank account to process your pre-authorized withdrawal to pay your Grow account for your subscriptions every month, or you can make your payments with a debit card.

If you don’t have a bank account, or Plaid does not support your bank, we may be able to offer you a Secured plan, which can be opened with a deposit paid through a debit card.

Plaid connects to over 11,000 banks and financial institutions worldwide, and their network is growing every day. However, some smaller banks and credit unions are still not supported by Plaid.
